I used to love Chinos. However, the last three or four times we've been here we have been very disappointed. The portion sizes have decreased significantly and some dishes are nothing like they used to be. One example is the Jerk Fried Rice. It used to be spicy and have that jerked seasoning, but now it is almost flavorless. When we asked them what happened and all they said was "Yep that's our jerk fried rice". They didn't care that we we not happy and didn't seem to care about any feedback. Too bad. This was a wonderful unique place and now it isn't anything special anymore.
On another note I do think that the owners that established this gem have retired and sold Chinos which explains why there are so many changes. Perhaps if there is enough feedback the new owners will bring back the original recipes, anyways I think this place will end up who knows where. We miss you Chinos.
