  • We have adopted 2 dogs and 1 cat from Friends for Life over the years. Our first dog was adopted in 1999 and lived with us until she was 15 years old. We felt very lucky with our experience. Then we adopted a dog in 2013 that was first listed as a lost dog that Friends for Life tried to find her family. When they weren't successful she was put up for adoption. She was approximately 6.5 years old and is now around 10 and living very happily in our home. About a year and a half ago we visited the "cat house" and found a lovely boy who was around 5 months old. He ended up being a great addition to our family and we look forward to many more years with him. I always tell people to visit Friends for Life as a Gilbert rescue.
