| - We met Chris and Chuck at one of the home shows this past summer. After speaking with Chris we liked their company the best but, of course we had to do our due diligence... First we met with American Back Yards. We spoke to them and they were supposed to get us a sketch (they never sent us anything). Then we met with Chris, he is old school. He drafted what we wanted by hand in front of us and captured what we were looking for perfectly and the price was great! We met with Presidential next he drafted it with us right there as well on the PC but his price was substantially higher and they used a cleaning system that all of the other pool contractors told us was no good bc the heads get stuck popped up. That salesman told us to go talk to our neighbors about their pool bc he designed it. Well this goes to show you how the salesman at Presidential have no idea what happens after a pool is designed. Our neighbor had heads that were stuck popped up and said the building process was horrendous. The pavers they had put in was not enough, they had a fire pit built and there was not enough blocks around it to fit a chair! They had to have another contractor come in and fix all the patio work they had done! We had Big Daddy draft up a pool and their price was also substantially higher. The guy kept calling and saying he could do better on his price but, why wouldn't you give us a good price in the first place? Platinum Pools cancelled on us like 3 times and we said forget it, we like Skinny Dipping Pools the best. We also had a party we were trying to get the pool done by. My Daughter's birthday is September 28th and we wanted to have the pool in by the time her party came around. Our financing took a little longer to come through so when we signed the contract we pushed her party to October 11th to make sure the pool was completed in time. It took 5 weeks to get our pool put in. It was filled and usable by October 8th. We absolutely loved Chris and Chuck and would highly recommend them. Our neighbors could not believe how fast we got the pool in and how beautiful it is. Chris also helped us design our lighting and landscape and told us where to go to get the deals on plants. We will never go to moon valley again! My husband wanted to get a UV system that Skinny Dipping had never used before, we ordered it direct from the company and Chuck got it installed for us. By the way, the UV light is great and saving us tons of money on chemicals. We didn't even have to shock the pool after the party because we left the light running while the pool is going on. Our whole experience was excellent. We know Chris miss quoted the price on the flagstone coping and they probably lost some profit off of it but they honored their contract just as they should. We had to put a little extra money into extending the wall around the pool equipment. However, that was a line of sight issue that we couldn't have caught by looking at a plan. My favorite part of the pool is the bubblers in the baja step (no one has that) and the waterfall. All of the pools we have seen out in AZ that have the waterfall look cookie cutter, like it came out of a box and they stuck it on the side of the pool. The contractor skinny dipping uses is an artist. I watched them build it from boulders. No one else will ever have that water fall but us! I'm not going to lie, the other review on Yelp came out like right after we signed our contract and made us a little uneasy. When we asked Chris about it, he said the lady stopped paying them so they had to stop working on her pool which makes sense. Chuck actually took me to see another pool they did in our development and that customer also loved the work Skinny Dipping did. Please use this company and Chuck and Chris can show off our pool any time!
