| - My sis and I took the parental units to lunch yesterday, and dad was curious about this Mongolian Grill stuff. This location is in the Supertarget shopping center in the corner by Radio Shack. Parking close the location is limited, but the large parking lot for Target is right there.
When you enter, you pay up front for a kids, small, or large bowl. Large is $9 and comes with entree, drink, soup, rice (white and/or brown), wonton chips and dip, and @ dinner you get soft serve ice cream (lunch time, it will cost you $1).
So you go down the line choosing your meats, veggies, noodles, and finally a recipe for your sauce. The employees have been available and very helpful each time we come here. They even put my parents sauce recipe together for them. At the end of the line, cooks fry up your concoction on round hot grills.
Suggestion: if you like a lot of meat, grab a bunch and smoosh it down with the wax paper. The meat cooks up really small because it is cut so thin. Don't be afraid to pile on the veggies and noodles. And ask questions to find out which sauce you might like; there is everything from sweet to savory to spicy.
Be prepared to take a doggy bag home, but they do charge 50 cents for one. The good thing is this food warms up so well in a sautee pan the next day! The favors have time to blend together and makes it even tastier! This place has the added benefit that you know EXACTLY what you are putting in your entree, so you know what you are eating.
