I love restaurants in old buildings, and outdoor seating between the awkward spaces of once was, is always an experience. I felt like I was eating at one of those highly exclusive prison restaurants in Europe. Except I was in Pittsburgh, drinkin' a beer and eatin' some macaroni and cheese a.k.a kase kugle mit speck. I had another side but can't remember what it was. My point is, is that the kase kugle mit speck was just macaroni and cheese. I paid $6.95 for a small macaroni and cheese. At least the Penn Pilsner was worth it, I remember it well. I highly recommend going there for the ambience and beer.
