I brought my car in for inspection. Registered appointment online the previous night. Dropped it off at 9. Picked it up at 10:30. Nothing special to report, they did their job, as expected.
Now for the weird things:
- I inquired how long it would take. Response was 'a couple of hours'. Repeated requests regarding anticipated duration were met with 'a couple of hours'.
- Hardly anyone was in the store.
- Ten (10) staff were milling around. Three in the manager's office. Two guys with overalls doing something with their phones and the computer. Another one looking busy. Three more in the parts department were discussing whatnot. All the while one (1) guy was slowly billing customers that were queued up.
- The waiting area had a kids' TV program blaring from the speaker. So bring your noise canceling headphones if you have to wait.
- Friendliness, they've heard of it.
