| - I don't want to sound offensive but I feel like the only reason this place is getting 4-5 stars is because the clientele consists of mostly non-Asians. Honestly, I think you wind up paying high prices for mediocre, routine Chinese food just because it's placed on nice plates and surrounded by beautiful decorations at Blossom.
Yes, they have a wide variety of dishes and specialties like shark fin, giant clam, abalone, and bird's nest but aside from that, their entree selection is no different from other standard Chinese restaurants (Panda Express is not an example). Like most Chinese restaurants, the entrees are made to share and the portions are decent size. They have plenty of wine and beer to choose from. Our service was excellent. Without us having to ask, the waiter brought out toothpicks and complimentary sesame balls.
If you're just dying and in need of some Chinese food loving, then this place is not bad and will satisfy your craving. But if you're visiting Vegas and looking to try the "best" restaurants, I would pass this place up.
