| - Let's get the negatives out first. Yea, it's out of the way, with too much traffic going in and out, plus the persistent worry of "what if it rains?"
One can possibly mitigate all of the above by taking advanced "lot A" parking spots so you end up among the first people to get to your car and the first soul outta there. However, this strategy will cost you $20-something. Otherwise, I would also start darting to the parking lot in the middle of the fireworks as most people are transfixed.
There are lawn chairs for sale and concession stands on site. You can buy seats in the covered pavilion or lay out a picnic mat. Each has its own appeal and I'm 50-50 on which is better. There is a little known gourmet covered patio restaurant at the back called the blossom grill, but this gets packed quick -- you'll need reservations.
Blossom center is the summer home of the Cleveland Orchestra and a gift to Northeast Ohio. What I love most is the electric, festive atmosphere and great music under the stars and the cool summer breeze; whether it's for family fun, a great night out with friends, or a romantic date. As an (amateur) musician, Clevelander and admirer of the arts, I love this place!
