I dropped in here on a Saturday night to place a to-go order. It was pretty close to their closing time, so the last couple of groups were leaving as I was heading in. Saigon Palace came highly recommended for the food, and I was certainly steered in the right direction!
On a scale of Pretty Bad to Excellent, the food at Saigon Palace gets a solid Great. The Pho was delicious and had a ton of vegetables. Definitely about two meals worth in one bowl. Broth wasn't too salty, and you could add different sauces to spice it up. Don't forget about the appetizers! Steamed pork dumplings had dough that was a bit thick, but the flavor was awesome (and they give you a ton of dipping sauce, too). Spring rolls were pretty normal.
Would I recommend this place to others? Absolutely. It's not a place where I would go on a fancy night out, but if I'm just craving some really good Vietnamese food, this is the place to go.
