  • I've had mostly 'not bad' experiences at this store over the years, however my most recent experience yields a one-star - as in WON'T GO BACK AGAIN! For the 2nd time in as many years, my daughter's running shoes started to fall apart within months of buying them. As you know New Balance shoes aren't the cheapest, but we paid more to get better footwear. I brought the shoes back to the store to see if anything could be done about them (by the time I returned them they were just over 10 months old, but looked much older). I explained the story to the sales associate, who asked that I wait to speak with the manager. When the manager finally spoke with me, he looked at me with ridicule, saying that they (New Balance) don't expect a pair of kids shoes to last longer than 10 months! I explained that we paid more for NB shoes with the expectation that a quality shoe should last longer. He continued to be curt and dismissive. So I walked out disgusted. I will not go to NB again, and subsequently bought my own new pair of SAUCONY running shoes from the Running Room experts.
