I am giving a review on purely my store experience. I have seen other reviews here complain about the quality/pricing. I needed some clothes because I didn't anticipate warmer weather in the area. So I walk into the store a little less than an hour before closing and see two mannequins behind the sales counter as I go unnoticed. Doesn't bother me, but then again I'm not your typical J. Crew customer.
I pick up a couple of pieces to try on and had to garner the attention of one of the ladies behind the counter to whom seem less than thrilled as I am led back to the dressing room. Happy with the fit, I proceed to walk back to the counter and make my purchase. I ask a couple of questions, I figured since I was here, to see if they had anything for my son ( no Crewcuts, in a mall!). So yeah, if you live out this way, the catalog is the way to go. The sales staff are merely lifeless mannequins and that's why I gave it 2 stars.
Update:
Spoke with Jason, their store manager and explained my experience with him. I am hoping he can use it with the store staff as a mentoring experience to better handle customers.
