| - Please, for the love of God, do not be fooled by how popular this place appears to be! It's always super busy because it's on Greene Avenue, not because it's the best salon.
First off, the manager is a complete moron. She always takes walk-ins despite being fully booked, meaning that people who've scheduled appointments are forced to wait or have to get their nails done by someone else. Secondly, this is probably the most unsanitary salon I've ever been to. There's dust and dirt on the floor and especially in the corners... and as Mrs. F mentioned, it's evidently a huuuuuge hassle for them to clean up after the previous client. On more than one occasion, I've had to ask the technician to please clean up the nail and cuticle clippings, as well as change the towel. She gave me attitude and laid out a clean towel on top of her dirty station. Disgusting.
I think the root of these problems is that the technicians are always in such a rush because of the constant influx of customers. It's a shame. I just wish people would stop going to this place out of convenience because they can easily wind up with some sort of infection. Sadly, Montreal health inspectors don't really place all of their focus on salons, but I'm trying my best to find a way to file a complaint. An inspection and fine are merited.
