  • Not recommended. I am finding a new provider. I had been seeing Dr Athalye for over 10 years. They always have a billing issue and typos and front desk issues. I liked the Dr and only go for a physical each year. But Something has changed recently. He was rushed on my yearly visit this year, and then billed me for multiple items without communication that were not on the list as covered for the annual checkup w bloodwork. I was surprised when I received multiple bills over 100$ in service I never asked for and which werent covered. After speaking with the dr office, and the dr literally on the phone (why isnt there an assistant handling billing?, bad sign) and insurance both blamed one another. Reality is the Dr office should know what is covered and what isnt and Communicate that. And if something isnt covered and not necessary then don't order it. They are obviously trying now to make extra money by testing extra to bill patients more. Seems like the office is in financial trouble. I highly recommend looking elsewhere. The current 2 stars and other 1 star reviews speak for themselves.
