  • I went to bring my dog yesterday to Dr. Athena Fung since my dog was vomiting and having diarrhea. Dr. Fung did her bloodwork and said everything looked normal, however, when I came home the bloodwork showed one of the results on the LOW side. We took our dog to the ER the same night and it turned out the LOW on the bloodwork was due to having CRUCIALLY low blood platelets that she was bleeding internally. Dr. Athena Fung prescribed all these medications that weren't even necessary. When we went back to talk to her, she hid in the back room and made Dr. Newbury speak with us which did not diffuse the situation but made it worse as he was trying to defend her unprofessionalism and misdiagnosis. Being a loyal customer for 4 years, I will now never return to this clinic no matter how much I love their front desk staff, Linda because clearly the doctors don't care for animals and will make any reason to defend their malpractice.
