Basically, it's you and your luck! You might get a functional good bike once in a while.
They need a new bikes fleet, new bikes stations and updating their app. Probably I'm writing this review at the worst time for this company. They're in the middle of updating the bikes racks. However, bikes are getting old, clunky, heavy, noisy and you have to report a problem in half of them.
I love the concept of renting bikes in big cities. You avoid the hassle of transporting or storing your personal bike and most importantly, the risk of being stolen. Having your own bike is definitely the way to go if you're not a vagabond like this dude. Also because you can get a high quality bike that is so light and so much fun to drive.
Customer service over the phone have been very professional and helpful. But everything else is messed up. I've witnessed few road rage incidents happening to bikers. Cars drivers don't realize that bikers are human beings and they need to treat them like they're driving cars. Overall, until they fix the above problems, I would avoid Healthy Ride Pittsburgh. Use your legs or drive or über it..
