My son is building a dog park for his Eagle Scout project, so we are visiting dog parks, interviewing dog owners, and such. We've been to 45 dog parks in the last two years. Bellevue Dog Woods has the opportunity to be a great dog park (again?). It's unfortunate that those in charge have neglected the park. When my son and I visited with our clipboard, the dog owners thought I was an inspector and were hopeful that I was there to help them make some changes. Evidently, the dog owners want, do some much needed maintenance to the park, but the local authorities have put a stop to everything. It's really too bad, because, like I said this could be a nice dog park. It's well shaded and even has a wooded trail. There is some agility equipment. There were probably six people using the park when we were there and all very friendly. Best of luck to the residents.
