My family and some friends of ours decided to try this place out for our first time. We go out to eat quite a bit and are the typical foodies. We arrived at this place and sat at a table and ordered for our family the bistec, plantains, cuban sandwich, camorones, rice and beans. We had a total of 4 in my family and my friend that arrived he had 3 in his family, so 4 adults and 3 children. We tried their food and it was ok but nothing to brag about. The service was lousy and our server forgot to bring my daughter's order. At the end of our dinner we asked for the bill to be split and so they did but they added their own tip on to the bill without telling us. My friend didn't see that on his bill so he added a tip on top of the tip that was put on to the bill by the waitress. I noticed on my bill so I questioned my bill and asked why the gratuity was added. She said we had a party of 6 or more and that she had to charge that. I told her I didn't see any sign and it wasn't posted anywhere and that it was wrong to charge us when we were going to add a tip to the bill anyways. Tips are not mandatory and are given voluntarily for good service. She was extremely rude and walked away. My friend received a refund for the double tip and as we complained we asked for a manager. Some guy came from the kitchen and stared us down and I asked him if he was the manager and he didn't say a word. We also were overcharged on our drinks. $4 each for a coke. This is not a good way to treat a local and I will let everyone know friends and people that go out to eat to stay away from this restaurant. Their are too many great restaurants in Vegas to have to deal with bad quality food, poor service, and dishonest staff.
