Milk is one of those spots that is difficult to walk by without getting something. They have a great menu of treats for those of us with a sweet tooth. The walk-up storefront has no seating which is ok considering there are plenty of places around the Chandelier bar to find a seat. Created by Christina Tosi in 2008 Milk Bar offers a unique twist on quite a few different desserts. What she's especially known for here at Milk Bar is their Cereal Milk Ice Cream and it's delicious on so many levels I can't name them all because of the endless combinations that you can create. Milk Bar is also known for their Compost Cookies® and Crack Pie® which are very good as well. I personally like to create my own milkshake which is the Birthday Cake Milkshake that is made with Cereal Milk and B'day Truffles blended inside. I don't stop there, next I order the Confetti Cookie which is a sugar cookie made with birthday sprinkles, birthday crumbs and vanilla that I crush up and throw inside the shake which gives it a fantastic texture with the birthday crumbs that are already inside. It kinda gives it a Yin and Yang texture with crunchy cookie pieces and soft cake pieces. It's bomb! Two other items that should be considered are their Cakes which are amazing. If you are having a party they have 6" cakes (available at stores) that can feed 8-12 people all the way up to a sheet 18"x26" (available by special order only) that feeds 120-150 people. The second item is their Cake Truffles which are bite sized cake pieces and very good. They have many other items on the menu like pies, soft serve, yogurt cups, juice, bread, coffee and tea. Like I always say when I like a place make the trip down and give them a try you will be glad that you did.
