| - Came here with the girls after dinner to pick up some sweets, cause why not! It was my first time coming here and I was really impressed with the selection that they offered. Walking in here like a kid in a candy store, literally. The first thing I saw were the holiday themed candy apples and I was definitely getting one of those. I picked the one that looked like reindeer - it was a chocolate covered Granny Smith apple with chocolate covered pretzel ears and the nose was a jelly bean (super cute!). Next, I was eyeing their truffles.. they had trays upon trays of flavours such as, matcha, ice wine, cappuccino, champagne, mango, piƱa colada, rum & raisin, etc. They were on the pricer side but they're to die for.. probably one of the best flavoured truffles I've had. I also got Maple Pecan fudge which wasn't anything special. They also had a wide selection of gourmet cupcakes, cakes, bags of candy, macaroons, chocolate bark bars, ice cream, and even served coffee. It was so tempting to get a bit of everything! The ladies that worked there were super helpful and let me know the most popular flavours of everything they offered. They even asked if I wanted to sample any of the fudge flavours. They do have a small sitting area in the back which is very warming and festive for the holidays. If you're looking for something sweet and you're in the Unionville Main Street area, I highly recommend checking out the Old Firehall Confectionary.
