  • I don't think I've had a better cupcake in Toronto, and I'm not a huge cupcake fan. I had my first taste at a kid's birthday party and brought mine home to share with my mom. It was a "Frost Me", marble cake with vanilla icing and a gumball. I wrapped it in a napkin for the ride home and didn't mind if the frosting got stuck to it, I usually find cupcakes over-frosted anyway. However, when I peeled the napkin back I was very surprised to see that no frosting was stuck to it. I'm not sure what it's made of, but the frosting wasn't sticky and sugary like most. We split the cupcake and totally fell in love! The cake was perfectly dense, yet soft, and the frosting not overly sweet and had a great texture. I've tried a bunch of their cake flavours, each with a corresponding icing or frosting and they're all so damn good. Check out the flavours on the website, there's something for everyone. I haven't tried them all yet, but the seasonal Lime n' licious is next on my list! My friends and I bought a full cake, vanilla with strawberry buttercream, for another friend's birthday. Everyone who had a piece melted just a little bit into their seats... Prices are pretty standard for single takeout cupcakes, and they do mini cupcakes on 24 hours notice.That would be great for a small party, giving all your guests a little taste. The shop is really small and can get very busy, but staff and customers alike are quite quick with the orders and everyone gets served relatively quickly. Love their cupcakes. Great flavours and not overly sweet like many other places. It's a good thing I don't live around there otherwise I'd probably be 20lb heavier!
