This place frustrates me. Love the concept and when it works it's awesome but when it's off, it's just not good. It seems as though the amount of liquid nitrogen they use varies greatly each time we come in. Sometimes they use the perfect amount and the end result is a really nice, creamy ice cream. But sometimes, they used way too much and you end up with hard, crumbly ice cream. Tonight was one of those nights... Hard, crumbly, icy ice cream.
Also, there has to be a way for them to speed up the process. There were two teenagers working tonight and neither one of them seemed to know what they were doing. Each customer took several minutes. Finally, an adult... I'm guessing the owner? Came out to help but he was just as slow didn't really seem to know what he was doing either.
I think it's a fun concept but you can go to other ice cream shops where they hand mix in your add ins and it's a consistent product every time and so much quicker.
