| - The first time I was a customer there, after being seated, an old man who, I'm guessing is one of the owners, kept staring at me, which made me uncomfortable. The lady who was cashier and cook was expressionless, as if she didn't care if I was a customer or not and after I sat down, she called me up again to pick four sides (when she could have done so right there). When I asked her if I could have napkins and chopsticks she angrily pointed at the area where they were. As I walked out, I saw them hauling on a dolly, FROZEN hamburgers, fries, and other items from a mail truck. The second time I was a customer there, a more friendly, younger girl took my order and was actually happy that I was a customer. Though, the same lady from my first visit was preparing my loco moco to go, and she took a long time because a customer who she was more familiar and friendly with happened to be there and she stopped to have a chat with him while my loco moco was getting cold. My last and lesser pet peeve is the pricing of the food. I feel like I've been cheated. How I miss Mai Island! They prepared all of their food fresh, it tasted delicious, and Jay provided one of the best customer services I've ever experienced!
