rev:text	After getting multiple mediocre hair cuts at Tonyc Salon in Scarborough Town Center (that were overpriced, might I add), I decided it was finally time to go looking for a new salon. I found Gondola after reading reviews on here and decided to give them a try. I'm extremely hesitant when it comes to haircuts and I'm not someone who's very keen on trying new stylists. I booked an appointment with Andy, since many people were highly recommending him. Once I got in, I was taken right away to get my hair washed. Andy kept complimenting the length and straightness of my hair did and awesome job massaging my scalp. It was super relaxing! He then took me to the chair to get my hair cut. You can definitely tell Andy really gets into his job, as he doesn't take his attention off of the task at hand. Let's just say, the end result was absolutely perfect! He cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it to be and really exceeded my expectations. It's sad to say that the higher end salons that I've been to haven't been able pull this off. Long story short, if you decide to go to Gondola, book an appointment with Andy! The price was also pretty great. $35 (not including a tip) for a wash, cut and blow dry. The only things I had slight problems with were: -The interior of the salon. It's a bit outdated. -Finding my way to Gondola. It's at the far end of the plaza, tucked away in the corner. It's a hard to spot if you're going there for the first time. -They don't accept credit or debit cards. (MAKE SURE YOU CARRY CASH WITH YOU!!) I had to go to the neighboring convenience store to get money from the ATM. Proud to say that Gondola's my new hair salon and I'll be asking for Andy from now on.
