Disclaimer - I don't like oysters and will not eat raw fish this far inland during the summer time so although this place is an oyster bar, I know nothing about their actual oysters. But I can tell you about a few of the other things on their menu. First of all, the shrimp tacos are bomb. They're cheap, delicious, and filling. The jasmin rice that comes with it is whatever but you can change it out to the round potato fries which are uh freaking mazing. The cod sliders are also really good and they have this tangy citrus jam that goes on the bottom. Do not have the sliders without that sauce because ! And I've only had a taste of their shrimp and grits but that was really good too.
The environment is pretty chill and relax. They have a cool bar in the middle of the restaurant, presumably for those wild cats who want to let loose during the night. But if you're young and want to party it up, I don't think I'd come by here despite the bar because every time it seems like there are a lot of older people here. If 30s is your crowd then this seems to be your place but in your 20s, I'd go elsewhere for a fun night.
