  • My first experience with Second Cup was awful! The coffee at their branch at the Parkway Mall tasted burnt and was super potent. I swore off Second Cup. 2 years later, I'm waiting for Via Cibo to open for lunch and I'm looking for a coffee house with free WiFi to hang out until then. Well......Second Cup was my only choice in the York Mills Gardens Plaza. With trepidation, I walked in and was pleasantly surprised: nice, bright place with comfy indoor seating for 20+, a fireplace, fine art photography on the walls, delicious looking pastries and an efficient and helpful crew. Got me a Flash Cold Brew Mocca with whipped cream which was decent. Glad I gave Second Cup a Second chance.
