  • Exceptional service! We purchased a new, old house. We had our new washer and dryer installed, thought all was wonderful until the dryer started telling us it was not venting correctly. These fancy new machines are incredible. The store I purchased the machines from had the installers return to check out what was going on, they were a joke. They deemed the dryer was defective and would deliver me a new one. Now that has to be some type of scam. Anyway, I new better and decided to have the vent checked. I did a google search and called Arizona Chimney & Air Ducts (ACAD). Becky within 5 minutes of my left message called me back. I spent some time on the phone with her discussing my problem and she was more than willing to take the time to listen and provide her knowledge and experience in dealing with these kinds of issues. I thought that was very nice and I told her so. It was actually pleasant speaking with her. We scheduled an appointment and her tech Sean called me before arriving stating he would be early. Sean arrived and found the exhaust vent on the side of the building and noticed it had been covered shut by stucco, along with a second vent next to it. He stated, that when he freed the moveable flap of stucco he felt a surge of air come through the pipe. He believed that would fix my problem without further work. The dryer code immediately cleared. What an honest and professional individual! I decided to have him clean the vent and as he did, he pulled a bunch of old lint out of it that began to pile up on the outside driveway. Before leaving, he repaired the second vent that also had been stuccoed over. Did I mention he did all this from an extension ladder that was perched about 20 feet up the side of our building! Yikes, that is a courage I would never have. Sean was a very knowledgable and personable individual. He knew his business and his confidence confirmed with me that I had hired the right company to do this job. I never thought I would need someone to clean a dryer vent, but you never know what life is going to throw at you. I would hire this company again in a heart beat. They charged less than others, very professional, personable, and reliable. Think about that and how it describes the last contractor your hired. You should think about using them too, you will not be disappointed.
