Stopped here to try some veggie sushi since I'm expecting a baby and can't have raw fish. My friend is also vegan and was the one who found Mika and suggested we try it out. We arrived at 5pm on Saturday (that's when sushi begins) and ordered the V-Hawaiian caterpillar and the V-tempura vegetable to start. I was so happy with the tempura vegetable! It had the perfect amount of crunch and freshness of flavors that I had been craving! Honestly, I didn't know what to expect and was very impressed! The Hawaiian was also excellent! It was a little different than what I'm used to because there is sweetness from the pineapple but it complemented the coconut and avocado so well! Such different and delicious favors! The service was exceptional as well. We met the owner, Greg and he offered us some vegetarian Mochi and the end of our meal. I found it quite nice that the owner would go out of his way to introduce himself to us and provide us with a sweet treat! We can't wait to come back again soon! Thank you!
