  • Every time I have been here the food has been good - not great - but good. Not so today. I ordered eggs benedict and my wife got steak and eggs. Both were marginal. One of my eggs was hard boiled and the other was perfect. The Hollandaise sauce was basically tasteless. I didn't finish my meal and left the one hard boiled egg - no comment from the waitress. My wife's steak was overcooked (supposed to be medium) and had a strange taste. She ate less than half of her meal. At the check out counter the lady asked how our meals were. I said fair. No comment. I asked about purchasing another cup that I had purchased the last time we were here. I told her that the wording had come off in the dish washer and I wanted one like my coffee was served in - raised printing not just painted on. I was then presumed to be a complainer and she copped an attitude. Her tone changed and I gave up, figuring I wouldn't get anywhere here. Too bad really. You can get a marginal meal anywhere and any time,so it is a shame that she got huffy with me. Oh well !!
