Heinz Field is a great stadium for football, with the seating high and tight. There's really not a bad seat in the house. There's all sorts of options for food and drinks inside - both standard stadium food and beer, as well as upscale/local, unique options. There's merchandise stores everywhere too. The Great Hall is worth your time, where you can see a ton of historical stuff on display. And everyone takes a pic with The Chief statue outside.
A few pro tips:
- I recommend going early for events, buying parking ahead of time when you won't get gouged, or (even better) taking the free T, which dumps you right at Gate C.
- The NFL has a clear bag policy for games so don't try to take in your purse unless you read the stipulations.
- Take time to walk a lap around the stadium outside. There's so much to see, especially along the river.
Overall, Heinz Field is a gem in the Pittsburgh skyline. Love it!
