One of the very best places to walk around in Las Vegas. And you're not on the strip, better yet. I think this is Vegas trying to make up for all the tourists anyway. And though pricey for what it is, Vegas has decided to fleece locals as they do tourists by charging for parking wherever you go. So, you're made to pay for everything here.
The sheer amount of things to do is what makes this a great space. And for all ages. They seem to add on activities every year, and though there are some I'm not fond of, there are more than enough to interest just about everyone. Yes, there is a lot of wasted space. And the "train ride" is kind of a poor joke. Oh, and a lot of useless areas, too, but it's not all bad.
I dare say that the desert gardens here are as nice as you'll find in one place. It should give the average gardener a lot of inspiration in its use of native plants. That alone makes this place worthwhile to visit. I dare say that it's the best aspect of this place when all is said and done.
