  • The wife and I went to Vine American Kitchen for the first time on Saturday to check out the Queen's Feast menu. We were welcomed with open arms. The staff was nice and inviting. The hostess sat us and told us the name of our waiter. The waiter was very nice and professional. The wives enjoyed the wine. Both were pleased. The food was sensational! I had Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes. The cakes were so meaty but very moist and tender. The wife had the Cajun Filet Mignon. This too was very delicious. The filet was cooked to a perfectly medium rare temperature. The potatoes and the creamy sauce on top complimented each other very well. We felt relaxed enough to linger awhile and talk over wine and dessert after our meals. The only reason why this place doesn't get 5 stars is due to the fact that the lighting was very dark for my ambiance flavor. I like a nicely dim lit restaurant. But the lighting was so dim on Saturday I was confused as to whether it was bedtime or dinner time! But all in all, a great experience. Can't wait to get back there.
