I'm neither vegan nor lactose intolerant but I love this place! Cheerful, sunny interior; cheerful, sunny, well-trained baristas. Chocolate biscotti are dense, dark chocolate, more compacted brownies than biscotti. Chocolate cupcakes are moist and decadent. Since I'm a chocoholic, I can't get past their chocolate confectioneries but their other desserts look delicious. Cappuccinos are made with soy milk so they have some of the soy aftertaste but because the staff uses a double shot of good espresso and doesn't overdo the milk, they are still tasty. Perhaps it is expensive but you pay for quality.
