I'll update my review to a 3star. I've been back a few more times recently (it's within walking distance to my house and it's convenient to pop in) and i've found the service has improved. The nachos and irish nachos are pretty good. But in my opinion are priced high for what they are. Just tried the chicken fingers and fries today for lunch and they were yummy. Standard pub chicken fingers, plum sauce was good, and the fries were really good! They are New York Fry-esque., in that they look fresh cut with the potato peel on them. Yum yumm! My friend had a pulled pork Dubliner sandwich thingy with a BBQ Guinness dip. I just dipped a few fries in the BBQ Guinness sauciness and it was good too.
Lunchtime didn't have much of a crowd so we had our choice of prime tables. I enjoyed.
