  • I come to midwood fairly often, and have spoken highly of them to others. Their food had always been great to me, but the last couple times I've been less than impressed. The food was still okay - I love their sauces, but the jalapeño poppers were over cooked and mushy, the meat portions seem to have gotten smaller, and the service has become spotty. My last visit was the worst service I've had here. Our food came out, and our server dropped our check off before I'd even taken a bite of my sandwich. He seemed to want us to leave, and I immediately felt in a rush to do so. He refilled my cup but neglected to refill my partners. And we definitely weren't hanging around to try to get anything else from Paul and inconvenience him. So instead of ordering desert (our check was already on the table remember), and getting another drink... we ate our food in less than 20 minutes and left. We went somewhere else for desert and received better service. I hope that Midwood returns to how it used to be, for now they've lost a fan.
