I mostly do pedicures at home, but when I'm feeling like a princess I usually head over to the Lo-Ann's Nail place in the Walmart shopping center. I went to the Starbucks and saw a different place next to LA Fitness, so I thought "what the heck" and went in. There was only one customer, at 1pm (on Labor Day) and I got right in for my pedicure. The water was lukewarm, the guy doing my pedicure had strong hands which was nice for the massage part of the deal, but he was terrible at painting my toes and cutting the nails straight! I didn't say anything, I really just go for the massage and scrubbing... but I didn't tip him very well. I had to come home and clip my nails and add some glitter to my polish so you couldn't tell there were bubbles from the GLOBS of top coat he applied. I think I'll stick to the busy salon across the street - it takes more time, but they do so much more and for almost the same price.
