| - The Axis is a medium sized venue with decent seats all around. Due to it's size, it didn't look like there were any bad seats. It's located towards the back of the Miracle Mile shops. I hadn't been to Planet Hollywood for a concert since the West Coast All Stars concert in 2011.
I came to see Romeo Santos with my sister. As expected, the bar was packed and the lines were long. There was also a line leading out of the door of the women's bathroom, but it moved along pretty quick. The ushers maintained order throughout the entire concert, if someone wandered out of their seats to dance on the steps, they quickly moved them back.
Now, the traffic and the reason why I'm only giving 2 stars. I parked on the 7th floor, it took me 1 hour and 30 minutes to leave the 7th floor. It was a complete nightmare. Everyone was very upset, cars honking, people cursing, getting out of their cars to see why it was taking so long. I asked one of the security guards why it was taking so long to get out, his response "because of the concert". After waiting a long time, they finally called more security out to direct traffic, which is something they should have done as soon as the concert was over. People were so upset and trying to get out that they were driving the wrong way.
I have to come back to see Chicago and J. Cole in July and I'm not looking forward to it at all because of the parking garage from hell. Let's hope they're organized next time.
