We booked and PREPAID on Sheraton's website weeks in advance for a very expensive Suite for our Honey Moon night. i called them 3 days before and told them it would be a late check in and asked if they could insure that we get the nicest room possible for our Wedding night. I asked them if they could do anything Special for our Special Occasion. The Front Desk Manager with a hillbilly accent and smoker's voice was very disinterested but said she would make notes. When we arrived, not only had they given our suite away, they tried to give us their last room, a standard double bed room for the SAME PRICE!! The young man at the desk was unapologetic and unsympathetic and told us we should have read the "fine print" on Sheraton's website and known it was based on availability..... But WE PREPAID!!!!! Ugh!
We spent our Wedding night Hotel hopping just to find a room!!! Sad!!! Horrible ending to an amazing day!
