I have a difficult time with places like this. On one hand, the food is pretty darn good and yes I'm a fan. On the other hand, I hate paying the upscale price for food when I don't have to. This is one of those upscale places where the food costs more than I prefer but apparently I paid for the quality I received.
The sushi roll I had was pretty good and filling. I can't remember what I ordered but I know it was near that bottom of the menu and with tax, it cost me $18.40 or so. I can say the roll was so big, it was easier to mix my wasabi and soy sauce in the dish and pour it on my roll than to dip my roll in the wasabi and soy sauce mixture. I figured I'd need to stop elsewhere afterwards to get some more food because of the price but once the roll was consumed, I was satisfied and full.
This is one of those trendy food joints I'd visit on rare occasions. If the rare occasion arose and this was an option, I would visit without hesitation.
