This review is for Visionworks, formerly known as Eyemasters.
5 stars for the ophthalmologist. She is fantastic and thorough. I have faith that she is a good doctor. My husband, daughter and I have all been here for our eye exams. She was very complete and understanding when giving the eye exam to my child (who has an aversion to both bright light and pitch dark, to put it mildly).
3 stars for the wait. Whenever we come here, it does not matter what our appointment time is, we wait. We'd really just like someone to be available to check us in when we arrive. There should never be no one around to check you in when you arrive, even if you take a later lunch than most. If you have a 2 p.m. appointment and arrive slightly before 2, someone should be there to check you in so that you can see the doctor AT 2.
The best part about this office is that you don't feel pressured to buy your glasses from the Visionworks office once you leave. An aggressive salesperson may hound you when you walk in, but you can walk right to the back of the store and go to the appointment desk. Unlike my experiences at Lenscrafters, the doctor will give you your prescription before you leave so you can get your glasses and contacts from anywhere. You don't have to ASK for your prescription or feel pressured into buying lenses from them.
I will continue to use this office for all my vision concerns.
