  • As far as movie theatres go this one is pretty top notch. It's recently renovated and has the best thing of all - IMAX! The staff are typical movie theatre staff - young kids who do not want to work. But even still I've never had an issue here. It's a very central location and there are tons of great restos in the area for you to enjoy after or before going to your movie (I for one am a huge fan of Hooters.) ...just kidding, don't go to Hooters. The Good: 1. Location. Central location with tons of other things to do around if you decide you don't want to see a movie! 2. Decor. It's a huge theatre with lots of flashing lights and things to look at. 3. Movies. They tend to get the best movies at this location as now Cineplex doesn't play the same films at each location downtown. The Bad: 1. Stairs/escalator. It's a loooong way to your movie. Why not take the stairs and burn some of that popcorn calorie? 2. VIP. Where is it?! Would recommend this theatre if you're in the area but by far the best location downtown is Yonge Dundas Square. It's still a loooong way up to your movie but they have top notch VIP seating if you prefer not to watch movie with scream children (NO JUDGEMENT!) Easy on the concessions.
