  • Mallorca seems to be a restaurant which has rested on its laurels. I'm guessing it was once amazing, maybe even the best restaurant in the Burgh. Today they seem to have gotten lazy. Pre-cooked rice and bland paella. Did I set my hopes too high? Maybe. But if price is any indication of quality, I think I should at least expect fresh rice. My wife loved it....I would have rather gone to Mike & Tony's down the road. I'd be willing to give it a second chance...but only if my wife pays. Head waiter seemed lmore interested in the girls walking on the sidewalk than our table. Not a good sign.
