  • This dispatch guy (Tiago) may have great manners but this company is a scam. TRIP 1 they came late on Wed pm and said I needed a new belt, removed old one and left system on (I should have checked after them but it was late and I was in 95 degree room ). Said they would be back 830 am next day with new belt. TRIP 2 they did not come until very late in the night Thurs despite promise to be there early morning. when they tried to install new belt, system could not turn on so I had to wait 3 hours. (They comped belt (I paid for first service call) but I suspect they were trying to sabotage so I would get frustrated and buy a new system.)System later kinds cooled temporarily. TRIP 3 system off again. They come back very late Friday. The mechanic kept calling his supervisor, talking to me, talking to him, making me talk to him back and forth for what seemed like forever and the supervisor on the phone seemed drunk, was belligerent, and made no sense. They first say I can rent a portable unit , then they make me promise to pay an exorbitant price for a new motor ($800) they don't even have available until next week or buy a new unit if I want the portable. I told them it was 95 in my house and the middle of the night and would not agree to anything. It was a total team shakedown. Honest and reliable company comes today and fixes it all for a very low price. New motors cost nowhere near $800 to install. Shame on this company. The other reviews on here all seem fake. My horror in dealing with the "NO Cooling Company " was real. They are leaving me messages trying to get me to take this down now. If only they were as concerned with what they do as what is said about them. "Good customer service" is not trying to extort a totally unreasonable sum at 2 am and bullying. UPDATE: to be fair, the system broke again after other company worked on it too. So now I am looking for a new system (Lennox, which does not have many dealers and this company is one). If the Cooling Company has not tried to get me to pay too much for a motor, they very well may have gotten my business. Greed and taking advantage of people when they are tired and hot is a bad long term business plan.
