rev:text	What have you been smoking if you haven't given Midwood Smokehouse a minimum of four, but perhaps even a five star rating? I knew the Charlotte area had some great BBQ places, even had a couple of go-to's myself. Well, I thought I did! Until today, March 25th, I realized that I hadn't experienced the area's best BBQ! Midwood does it all and does it well! From the start you notice every server with a upbeat, charming, and eager to get you anything kinda attitude! Mine, Lorilee, was incredibly prompt, charming, and personable! From the time the Smoked Wings hit the table I knew this was special! Ordered dry with sauce on the side, these wings were smokey, plump, juicy, and the best wings in Charlotte hands down! To not feel too guilty, I ordered the Brisket Salad which made me feel ridiculously guilty! Full of tender brisket, smokey corn, real bacon, black beans, avocado, fresh lettuce, and fresh tomatoes! Incredibly good it was indeed! Then came the small Pulled Pork platter which had more meat than I'd first thought. Tender, juicy, flavorful, and though tossed in Eastern sauce it didn't disappoint. The side of Baked Beans had some pulled pork, possible bacon, and perhaps burnt ends in it which made it the highlight of the meal. Yes a side item stole the show which should tell you that they aren't just concentrating on the meats! I regret that I'll never step foot in my two favorites in Charlotte again, but hey, step up to Midwood's game!
