  • IMHO, this is like a DENTAL CLINIC, NOT a traditional dental practice owned and operated by one dentist or a group of dentists who work in the practice. They have a revolving door of dentists. As soon as you get used to one, he is gone and replaced with someone new. According to the staff, another dentist owns the practice, but no longer practices. He hires dentists and other staff to run the practice. In the two years I have been going to this practice, I have seen 3 different dentists. You never get any advanced warning that your dentist has changed, they just announce it at your appt. That's what happened at my last cleaning. My third new dentist proposed a treatment plan for a procedure I may need in the future. He may be perfectly fine but I don't know him. I have ZERO knowledge about the background and experience of this dentist. I had formed somewhat of a rapport and trust with the previous dentist who was there a little over a year. I was led to believe by staff that he was a co-owner of the practice and as such, would be staying in the practice long term. That was one of the reasons I didn't change dentists at that time. However, he apparently left to start his own practice. It is hard to develop confidence in dental services if the dentists are always leaving. How long will dentist 3 be there? It's anyone's guess. That's why I gave this business 2 stars. The staff has been fairly constant and I do feel the dental hygienist is very good. However, I am researching other practices where the dentist both owns and works in the practice. If you want to able to see the same dentist year in and year out, this IS NOT the place for you. UPDATED: April 2015. Didn't get around to finding a new dentist in time for my next checkup. Since I like the dental hygienist, I went back. Of course there are two new dentists now. The last guy lasted about 7 months! He proposed an optional treatment for a tooth, I decided to wait. Now the new one says it's not necessary. This lack of consistency in treatment is not helpful in making decisions about dental care. If I go back for the next checkup, I fully expect another new dentist will be there. Therefore I am actively looking now to change to a more traditional dental practice where there is a permanent dentist who will follow my care from checkup to checkup.
