| - We had heard good things about this company and thought it would be worth checking out. We had called to see what was in our budget, when DOUG answered the phone and immediately had a sarcastic tone in his voice. He answered my husband's question in a very rude manner and before we could even begin to negotiate a price with something we wanted, and obtain information... DOUG had hung up on us. We were flabbergasted at this, and thought maybe it was a mistake. Nope, it was not. We called back and DOUG answered again, only to be more rude this time around and he seemed to not want to treat us with respect, we asked him if he always treated customers as such, into his exact words "you're not a customer." At this point we are just in complete shock, and so my husbands tells him he does not need to be a dick, and of course DOUGS response is "it's easy to talk over the phone..." just being completely confrontational. This must be a joke, theres no way a car sales man has the audacity to treat potential buyers as such. We show up to Sullivan Motor Company and request to speak with DOUG, and of course to our surprise, they wont tell us who he is. We let the manager know our situation to which he says their calls are recorded and that he will take a listen and get back to us, at this point we have no interest in doing business with them. DOUG eventually comes out from the woodworks and is STILL rude in front of the manager, of course the manager sides with DOUG. I have still yet to hear of the recorded phone call and how they will resolve this issue. I dont know who trained DOUG with his customer service skills but perhaps being retrained in that area can prevent future customers from experiencing such a distasteful human being. The only guy there with any kind of decency is Manny. I'm upset that this place was not up the expectations that it was thought to be. Its unfortunate that a company who is about sales, has someone so arrogant and obnoxious. First impressions are everything, so being that our first impression was the phone conversation which we thought okay this could not be true, we gave the company the benefit of the doubt and decided to go in anyway, only to be disappointed. If you happen to go here for a vehicle, DO NOT GO TO DOUG. MANNY IS YOUR GUY.
