  • I moved out of The Met in May, but I still want to leave a great review for them because living here is fantastic. It is almost always quiet (there are occasional weekend parties), conveniently located, and affordable. I am an ASU student, so with the Met literally across the street form the campus, it's so convenient. When I first moved in, they didn't have any parking spaces available for me, so they gave me a garage FOR FREE. That was super awesome of them because I could also use the garage to store stuff. It's a gated community, so it's safe too. The complex itself is great. The maintenance people always keep it clean. There's a nice yard area where kids can run around and the pool and jacuzzi are always kept clean as well. There's also BBQs in the yard area and by the pool. The pool does get crowded in the summer, but tell me what pool in Phoenix isn't packed during summer. The place also has a 24/7 exercise room. That room is a little small and doesn't have a lot of equipment, but it's good for someone who just wants to run on the treadmill or bike for an hour. The Met is also about 4 blocks away from a YMCA, so you don't have to go far to find a bigger workout space. What's also neat about the Met is they have a free movie library so you can rent movies to watch! Inside the unit is pretty nice. Carpet and tile floors. The appliances are a little old, but they are in good working order. They have a variety of studios, 1/1 bed, and 2/2 beds. The utilities included are water and trash, so residents have to pay for electricity, cable, and internet. That can vary, depending on what month it is. But rent for living in a two bed/two bath + utilities = $700 a month, roughly. That is a unbeatable price for something as nice, clean, and cozy as the Met is. The staff is super friendly. One problem with the Met is if you want to list an apartment here, you have to get on a waiting list 3-4 months in advance, depending on what season it is. Their units are THAT high in demand. But if you do land a unit here, I guarantee you'll love it.
