  • After a successful first day of my first baseball vacation, my travel companion and I headed to Winking Lizard. It had popped up on a few searches for local bars that looked to have lots of good beers on tap. Since we weren't sure what to expect, our expectations were not that high. That being said, we quickly decided that WL was one of our new favorite places. We elected the outdoor patio to enjoy some choice brews. I went with a 4 sampler paddle since I couldn't pick just one draft. The draft list isn't overwhelming but offers some good choices beyond your Bud Light and Coors. Service was friendly and helpful to the newcomers who weren't looking for much, just a good time and a few late night cocktails. It was the perfect way to end our exciting day. (Can't speak for the food.)
