  • I will never take my dog here again. I used to love taking my small terrier poodle here. There was a male groomer that did really well with my dog (who doesn't handle getting groomed very well). When I dropped my dog off last week they told me that that guy was no longer employed there. I should have walked out right then and there but I didn't. When I picked up my little dog he was shaking and coughing a bit. I thought maybe he swallowed some hair or something. But he coughed all afternoon and all through the night. I took him to the vet and found out that he had a collapsed trachea. If it wasn't caused by the grooming restraints then it was at the very least aggravated by it. He has NEVER coughed like that after being groomed. He also was very cautious about getting near us. If I approached him, he would run away or roll his back and put his head down like he was scared of me. He was NOT like that before I dropped him off. He is slowly started to come around now. Thank god! I'm not sure what happened at that grooming appointment but I will never take him back there.
