  • There's a reason so many chefs shop here...this is one of the GTA's premiere gourmet food shops, specializing in an astonishing array of cheese, meats and other choice deliousnesses, from oils and vinegars to produce, sweets and beyond. If you're curating a cheese/charcuterie board for your next get-together (with some nice breads, crackers, spreads, nuts and olives for good measure) this is your mecca. The team of knowledgeable folks behind the counter will help guide you through the assortment based on your personal tastes, and samplings are plentiful. Another fun thing about this store is the random samples that are passed around...I'm not sure if this only happens on certain days or at certain times of year, but when we were there stocking up for a New Year's party, we were given: free espresso with biscott, bomboloni (cream-filled Italian donut), a juicy orange and crispy baked prosciutto (a MUST...we wound up buying a bag). Bring lots of money and get ready to indulge!
