| - I only get my nails done once or twice a year, and usually because I've received a gift card. However, today was different, I had a little extra money and wanted to treat myself. I stopped in, picked a light-peachy shimmery color of SNS powder and made nice conversation with my technician, Olivia. The powder in the jar looked about the same shade and i didn't think anything of it, but once the powder was done and she put the topcoat on, it turned really dark, "Candy Apple" red. I asked her if it was going to lighten up and her response was
"no, our samples got sun bleached because they were by the window, sorry i forgot to tell you". ??????? What????
I have to be at work, so i didn't have time to start all over.
I asked the girl up front if that was true or if Olivia just picked the wrong color by mistake, and the gal said that in fact their samples did get sun damaged.
I then asked why they weren't all pulled and redone?
She said that there were over 200, and they weren't sure which ones were damaged or not.
Well, chickadee, then you should have pulled and redone ALL of them ...duh!! Yeah, it sucks and it's a lot of work, but you're running a business. She said she could fit me in tomorrow to get them redone, and I asked how it was going to be possible to get them redone in the color I want if they don't even have the correct colors available?? She said that I can ask my technician to try a sample on a fake nail tomorrow before she puts it on me. This is so asinine. JUST FIX YOUR SAMPLES! So I'm going to waste a bunch of time sitting there guessing which ones will be the color i want. Apparently the manager is on vacation right now, hopefully this gets fixed when he/she gets back. Regardless, i won't be coming back after i get it fixed tomorrow.
